The Complutense University in partnership with the Royal Spanish Physical Society announce the 12th International Meeting on Thermodiffusion (IMT12) that will take place in Madrid (Spain) from May 30th to June 3rd, 2016. As in previous editions, IMT provides a unique opportunity for sharing ideas about theoretical, experimental and numerical research on Diffusion and Thermal Diffusion. It is a regular-sized meeting (around 80 people) aimed at scientists and technologists interested in the field(s). As typical of the IMT series of meetings, we expect a lot of personal interaction and opportunities of collaboration, whether initiating them or further existing ones.

Sessions will be held at the Chemistry Building of the Complutense University, just to the west of downtown Madrid, very well linked to the whole metropolitan public transportation network and with plenty of free parking spaces.

The conference will include both invited and contributed presentations. Given that there will be no parallel sessions, only a limited number of slots are reserved for contributed oral presentations to be selected by the scientific committee. A strong emphasis will be put on poster presentations with large time slots for the discussions around them.
